Web Media Tools managed its first Men's College Basketball contest, Hoops Frenzy, in 1999 (for The Cincinnati Enquirer at Cincinnati.com). By our third year, we expanded our focus to any company wanting digital contests for their sites.
In the summer of 2001, due to our clients' needs, we expanded our product line to focus on a suite of tools. We provide one, very easy to use, management interface for WMT that makes our clients' jobs a lot easier. The monthly subscription allows for easier budgeting, which was one of many requests that were implemented. Also, in our clients' best interests, tools and games will always be re-evaluated, contingent upon input, demand, and current national interests. In the fall of 2001, we expanded the offerings to include the Quiz Generator, Football Frenzy, and our Give Away Tool.
Through our network of clients we have hosted over 10,000 custom branded contests engaging 2.7 million registered users, but more importantly while our contests and their sponsors engage their local audiance, they also reach a nationwide broadcast viewing market of over 48 MILLION!
